Learning Objectives

Module Title: Electrical Operating Elements

Training Need:

All operators and maintenance personnel must be familiar with the use and adjustment of all electrical controls on the wrapper that may be needed for proper machine operation.

Prerequisite Skills:

Understanding of all safety devices and labels. Understanding of basic machine function and terminology.

Overall Objective:

Provide personnel with a thorough understanding and knowledge of the electrical operating elements and adjustments that are necessary for machine setup and production.

Specific Learning Objectives:

1. Trainees will be able to identify and use all electrical controls such as pushbuttons and switches used in the operation of the wrapper.

2. Trainees will be able to identify and use the temperature controllers to maintain the proper seal temperature for the film.
