The Pack 401 horizontal flow wrapper extends the performance of Doboy wrappers to speeds up to 80 meters per minute, by combining proven technology and application know-how from Bosch Packaging Technology companies around the world. It marks the next generation of Bosch packaging machines that are available globally and supported locally.

New features on the Pack 401 provide a high degree of reliability and efficiency. The latest technology in gap control results in consistent and precise seal integrity. A standard dual spindle backstand with power feed roller allows for full automation, providing improved splicing, cutting, auto tracking and tight cut offs.

The Pack 401 can operate as an independent unit or can be integrated with other packaging systems such as Delta-robotics, secondary packaging equipment, product handling equipment, and various infeed modules.

Efficient

• Standard dual film spindle with power feed roll improves overall productivity.
• Oversized drive and motor on cross seal allows for higher speeds, increased acceleration/deceleration for tighter cut-offs and improved package quality.

• Winpack PC control platform using an intuitive Windows CE operating system and graphic HMI. Uses graphical displays to indicate error location for easy trouble shooting.

Reliable

• Auxiliary finwheels replace static fold to allow for reliable film transport and fewer cutting head jams.
• The first set of three cantilevered finwheels are adjustable in angle to provide tighter packages.

Options:

• Separate drive on first set of finwheels – allows the position between the former and the pinch point to be adjusted. The remaining fin wheels can run at a higher speed to eliminate and prevent wrinkles
• Automatic film tracking – enables more consistent fin-seals and an added level of automatic quality control
• Peeling roller – improves the consistency of unwinding cold seal films
• Air evacuation manifold – for tight packages
