1983
Demaurex was founded by Marc-Olivier Demaurex specializing in flexible automation solutions.

1988
Demaurex began development of the Delta robot under the license of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL).

1992
Demaurex sold its first Delta robot packaging application to Roland.  The first application was a landmark installation of 6 robots loading pretzels into blister trays

1996
Demaurex sold its first landmark vision-guided Delta robot installation to Nestlé - a chocolate assortments packing line of 7 robots installed in Switzerland.

1997
The packaging industry was the first to see the advantages of the new Delta technology and Demaurex focused their business on the packaging industry.

1998
The demand for this technology grew and Demaurex sold a total of 300 Delta robots since its beginning.

1999
Demaurex joined the SIG Group to link Delta Robot technology with the other packaging technologies of the SIG group.

2001
Demaurex developed a standard machines strategy, developing standard products focused on bringing flexible automation to even low-end producers.  The result of this development is Demaurex’s “Top Loading” and “Feed Placing” products.

2002
Demaurex put in place a strategy to sell these products in North America with the help of Doboy Inc.  Delta Robot Products are currently sold and serviced in North America through Doboy.

2003
The standard machine strategy pays off as Demaurex had their best year ever.

2004
The Bosch Group purchased the SIG PACK division from the SIG Group and Demaurex was incorporated into the Packaging Technology division of Bosch.

2008
20th birthday for the Delta Robot, and 25th birthday for Demaurex. More than 1000 Delta robots sold since 1988.

2009

Demaurex in now completely integrated into the Packaging Division of the Bosch group and becomes "Bosch Packaging Technology SA". At this date 1300 Delta Robots have been sold.
