Inline Robot Feeder Placing your production directly into packaging machines with the flexibility and speed of Delta Robots.
Facts
Placing products directly into packaging machines with the flexibility and speed of the Delta Robot
Fast:
up to 160 products/minute with a 2 robot cell
up to 80 products/minute with a 1 robot cell
Delicated product handling:
Vacuum cup end-effectors
Maximum flexibility:
Production change-over in 5 minutes with inexpensive change-over parts
Grippers designed to pick up almost any kind of product
Each product can be uniquely positioned and orientated during the pick and place
grouping products into layers before packing
Advanced product tracking for precision placement even when products are in motion
Randomly positioned and oriented products are packed with precision with the vision-guided option
Compact:
1 Robot: 1.3 x 1.7 m (4 ft x 4 ft) foot-print
2 Robots: 1.4 x 2 m (4 ft x 7.5 ft) foot-print
Low maintenance robotics:
Designed for 3-shifts a day operation
Fixed position motors and no bending wires for longer life and higher speeds
Composite materials for strength and long life
No lubricants and no gear boxes
Robot arms are collapsible and remountable in 2 minutes
Color touch screen HMI:
Intuitively menu driven windows to set-up, change-over, and run different productions
Experience:
Over 1300 parallel axis Delta Robots in production today

Technical information
Requirements of the packaging machine (Wrapper, Cartoner, etc.):
The Infeed must be as narrow as possible and positioned as close to the collator as possible to minimize the robot trajectories and maximize robot performance.
To exit the Paloma the infeed must straddle a cross beam (150 x 150 mm) with the top of the beam positioned 200 mm below the product input height.
If the speed control option is selected the packaging machine must be capable of letting the Paloma control its speed based on production flow.
Product input requirements:
Without vision-guided option: single-stream flow and packing precision is dependent on product orientation and position at the delivery to the Paloma.
With vision-guided option: Randomly oriented and positioned products can still be placed with precision.

Robot speed is dependent on product size and weight. Not all products that fit in the product range can be placed at the maximum cycle speed. Check with sales support to determine the maximum cycle speed for your application. Technical information is subject to change without notice.
