Bosch plans to acquire Eisai's machinery business companies

Bosch Packaging Technology intends to acquire the machinery business of Eisai Co., Ltd. one of the leading Japanese pharmaceutical companies. Respective agreements were signed on February 8. Eisai machinery business specializes in inspection machinery for the pharmaceutical industry.

UPDATE: The situation in Japan

Bosch has scaled back production at its locations in Japan for the time being. Bosch associates in Japan were told today to stay home unless it was absolutely necessary for them to be at work. The decision was based on a number of factors. 

Transver AG of Altendorf joins Rotzinger AG

End of last year it was announced that the conveyor system business from the Swiss Transver AG was integrated into Bosch Packaging Systems AG (formerly Sigpack Systems AG). At the same time it was informed that the belt bend (curves) business will be continued independently by TRANSVER at the same location.
