During the design process simulations can be utilized for optimizing the system layout and the workflows.

This film illustrates a simulation of a system for the formulation of Piezo materials. The simulation shows a central robotic arm maneuvering the syringe cylinder between standard process modules such as dosing, heating and stirring.

When the formulation process is completed, a plunger is inserted in the syringe cylinder. The newly-formed syringe is then used for dosing the formulation onto a substrate for electronic testing and characterisation.
