Bosch has many years of experience in filling and processing of syringes. Through this experience, Bosch has developed highly reliable machines with precision handling that operate at both low and high speeds for both the inline and nested filling processes. These systems are available with many desirable features such as in-process check weighing, barrier isolators or RABs. Bosch also offers a wide product line of syringe processing equipment to accompany the filling machines.

Inline Filling Systems:
Bosch’s inline syringe filling systems include the MLD and FLS series. The FLS is able to fill up to 300 syringes/minute, while the MLD will fill 600 syringes/minute. Both series are able to handle all syringe types, including plastic, glass, tips, with flanges or without. Bosch has supplied over 60 filling machines/lines in variable configurations based on the customer and process needs. These configurations include multiple tip caps, various filling configurations and vacuum stoppering.

Nested Filling Systems:
Based on the experience and modular function approach used on the in-line syringe filling machines, Bosch introduces the FXS series of nested syringe fillers in 2006. The nested syringe filling machines have been developed for fully automatic filling and sealing of pre-sterilized nested syringes.

In the low output segment is the FXS 2020 machine with a capacity of up to 72 syringes/minute. In the middle range Bosch offers two models, the FXS 2050 which outputs 160 syringes/minute and the FXS 3100 which outputs 300 syringes/minute. For the highest output capabilities, Bosch has designed the FXS 5100 with a capacity output of up to 600 syringes/minute.

With the nested syringe filling machine as the core of the new product line, a compliment of other processing and packaging machines will also be introduced in 2006 allowing Bosch to supply complete integrated systems for nested syringes.
