Overview
The CVT is built for precision handling and inspection of pharmaceutical products. This inspection machine series with the unique Slitec™ feature assures control and perfection in completed product inside and out. The machine is suitable for many output ranges and meets the strictest requirements of the pharmaceutical industry regarding reliable identification of particles as well as cosmetic defects.

The CVT series of inspection machines uses video camera technology to inspect vials, ampoules, cartridges, and syringes at speeds up to 600 per minute. This series specifically inspects for particulate contamination in the product, but also detects chips, cracks and scratches as well as burn marks in ampoules and ring codes. While the basis of the machine is built to inspect vials, ampoules, cartridges, and syringes, the process of handling syringes requires some extra measures.

The heart of the machine is the unique Slitec inspection method that requires no moving parts. Instead, the window from the camera is divided into several “virtual” frames so that during the passing of the containers several images are taken, one in each frame. Each image is analyzed for the presence of particles and then compared to the other images taken of the same container.
