Automatic Cleaning System

Product or batch changes usually require a cleaning process. The GKF HiProTect has an integrated cleaning system to maintain the level of operator protection during this process step. A principle philosophy used in the design was to avoid unnecessary product waste. The "no cap/no fill" function prevents contamination inside the production environment. The filling unit will only dose the product when a complete empty capsule is present. Several spray nozzles, which move inside the machine during the cleaning cycle, clean every square inch with desalinated water, acids, or caustic cleaning solutions. A programmable washing system stores and recalls cleaning protocols, guaranteeing a reproducible cleaning result for your individual wash-in-place or clean-in-place process. The GKF employs 316L stainless steel and FDA-approved plastics in compliance with industry standards.
